Nayanthara’s absence creates controversy

Nayanthara’s conspicuous absence in the audio launch of Anamika in Hyderabad has created a fresh controversy. Anamika is the Telugu remake of the critically acclaimed Hindi film Kahaani directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is also getting released in Tamil as Nee Enge En Enbe next Friday. Rumors are predominant that there are conflicts between Sekhar Kammula, the director and Nayanthara during the film’s shooting and that’s why she chose to skip the audio launch function.

Sekhar Kammula later brushed aside the speculations stating they are rumors. Though he is angry that she has not attended the function, he admits that she has been practicing it for quite some films now. “That’s how her philosophy is. It’s her wish and we cannot force her or blame her,” says the director. The hearsay has it that the director has shot a promotional song featuring Sunitha Sarathy and given her more screen time than Nayanthara and it irked the gorgeous diva.
