Nayanthara is one of my favorite heroines: Ram Charan at Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy press meet
Speaking at the press meet of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in Chennai, producer Ram Charan said, “I thank RB Choudary sir for being a great role model and inspiration for me. While talking about my father sharing screen space with Tamannaah, I could recollect an incident that happened a few years ago. It was during one of my movie pooja, where Tamannaah and I were there. Dad had stayed away from films as he was involved in politics. However, he said that if at all he makes a comeback, Tamannaah would be his heroine. I was like dumbfounded asking him “Dad, how do you expect that? She is now playing heroine opposite young heroes like me.” Nonetheless, I am glad to see that it has come true now and she has done a remarkable job. Nayanthara has been one of my favorite heroines and her involvement in the project is more praiseworthy.”
He also lauded Vijay Sethupathi like his dad Chiranjeevi. “For the first time, I met Vijay Sethupathi; I just hugged and appreciated his performance in ‘96’. He is so humble and down-to-earth and his performance is really astounding. 15 days back, I had Arvind Swamy sir visiting my house and was showing me all the movies he had dubbed for other heroes. I was wondering and asked him why he is doing that. He replied saying, “Hey man! I am trying to sell myself here and I want to dub for your father in Tamil version.” We had already completed dubbing in Tamil and with his complete interest; he dubbed the film in a short span of time. This shows his passion and interest to be a part of good cinema.”
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy releases worldwide on October 2nd.
