Nayanthara in talks to play lead heroine in Indian 2?
Lady Superstar Nayanthara is in talks to play the lead heroine in Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, directed by Shankar. If materialized, the project will mark the first-time collaboration of the actress with Kamal Haasan.
Nayanthara has previously worked with Shankar for the opening song Ballelakka in Rajinikanth’s Sivaji where she made a special appearance. Indian 2 will also mark her maiden full-fledged association with Shankar if everything goes well.
Sources say Nayanthara could play the role of a revolutionist in the movie, which is likely to be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Shankar launched the film on the Republic Day a few days back by floating a helium balloon in Taiwan with the words Indian 2 on it.
