Nayanthara and Arvind Swami win awards at CIFF
At the recently concluded Chennai International Film Festival, Nayanthara bagged the K Balachander Award for Best Actress for her sterling performance in Maya and Arvind Swamy won the K Balachander Award for Best Actor for his stunning potrayal of Siddharth Abhimanyu in Thani Oruvan.
Nayanthara also won the prestigious Amitabh Bachchan Award for Youth Icon of the year. Director Anucharan’s acclaimed debut film Kirumi was presented with the Best Film award and the yet-to-be-released Radiopetti won the second Best Film Award at the festival.
