National award-winning actress in Rajinikanth’s Kaala
Model-turned-actress Anjali Patil, who rose to fame with a national award-winning performance in the Telugu film Naa Bangaru Thalli, has been roped in to play an important role in Rajinikanth – Ranjith’s Kaala. She was recently seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya.

Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and directed by Ranjith, Kaala revolves around the life of Tirunelveli Tamils settled in Mumbai. Murali cranks the camera and Santhosh Narayanan composes music for the project, which starts rolling from May 28th in Mumbai.
