Nassar raves about Vasantha Balan’s work

Nassar who plays an important role in Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan raved about his work at the audio launch yesterday by calling it as ‘an honest effort’ from Vasantha Balan. “If you’ve followed the work of Vasanthabalan, you’d realize that each of his film is so different from the other. He’s someone who dares to explore and I think that’s what makes his special and so different from other filmmakers. The prominence of stage plays will increase in our country post the release of this film,” said Nassar.

He also praised AR Rahman’s work in the film. Starring Prithviraj, Siddharth, Vedhika and Anaika Soti in lead roles, it is tentatively set to release on September 19th. The film is about the lives of theatre artists in the 20th century and Siddharth and Prithviraj’s rivalry forms the crux of the story.
