Narendra Modi, BJP’s official PM candidate is likely to meet Superstar Rajinikanth at his residence today. “Narendra Modi is visiting cine super star Rajnikanth at his residence in Chennai tomorrow evening,” posted P. Muralidhar Rao, BJP’s General Secretary in-charge on Twitter yesterday. Narendra Modi is coming to Chennai to address a gathering as part of his election campaign. Sources say, he will meet Rajinikanth and directly attend his campaign after the meeting.

The immense fan following that Superstar commands is equal to none. Any gesture from Rajinikanth may invite his millions of fans to alter the political equation in TN. It is worth recalling that few days back, Telugu Superstar Nagarjuna met Narendra Modi in his residence. Also, Kollywood diva Samantha voiced her support for Modi in a TV channel. With Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan openly endorsing a communist candidate from Kerala and Rajinikanth meeting Modi, the election season has truly arrived in Tamil Nadu.
