After Lingaa, now it’s Nanbenda
Rajinikanth’s Lingaa shooting was stalled during the initial stages of the first schedule when reports emerged suggesting the team did not acquire proper permission to shoot in the Mysore Palace. Now, it’s Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Nanbenda turn to face the trouble. The team was apparently shooting in Tanjore in a 150 year old building, an erstwhile prison during the British period.
The shooting stalled for sometime since the team did not receive permission from the respective authorities. Director Jagadish however claims the issues got sorted in a smooth manner and they resumed shooting after a while. Nanbenda has Udhayanidhi and Nayanthara in lead roles and Sherin of Visil fame in a significant role. Santhanam continues his association with Udhayanidhi for the third time in this film too.
