“Nadigar Sangam building should be a must-visit tourist destination,” says Vishal

Vishal, the newly elected General Secretary of South Indian Film Artistes’ Association, confirmed yesterday in the first executive meeting that Kamal Haasan has agreed to be one of the nine trustees of the union. Suriya has donated a sum of Rs. 10 lakhs for the betterment of the union.

“Our first agenda is to construct the building. It should not house any multiplex or shopping complex. Nadigar Sangam building should be a must-visit tourist destination in Chennai for visitors. We will strive to work towards that goal. Our institution will be politically neutral and members from political parties will not occupy any adminstrator position in the office,” said Vishal.
