NSM goes bold with U/A

On Sunday night, Only Kollywood revealed the exclusive lip-locks of Vishal and Lakshmi Menon in Naan Sigappu Manithan before the pictures went viral on the internet. It appears that the intimate kissing scenes in the film have not gone down well with the censor board. “Censor board was demanding cuts in specific scenes in the film’s flashback to grant U, which will dilute the impact of the film as they are integral part of the story,” says Mr. Dhananjayang, for UTV. The team has decided to go with U/A to retain the intensity of the narration, he added.

The film was appreciated unanimously by the censor board members and they urged the NSM team to present the film as it is. Naan Sigappu Manithan directed by Thiru and produced by UTV Motion Pictures in association with Vishal Film Factory has an interesting premise and a good cast. The film revolves around Vishal, who plays a hypersomniac, a neurological sleep disorder letting the person to sleep inadvertently. It is slated for release on April 11th, more importantly, a solo release.
