Naaigal Jaakirathai is a dog movie more than a cop movie: Sibiraj

Sibiraj’s Naaigal Jaakirathai is one film which has piqued the curiosity of moviegoers of late, thanks to editor KL Praveen’s versatile cuts for teaser and trailer. Sibiraj, who plays a cop role in the film says that Naaigal Jaakirathai is a dog movie more than a cop movie and has promised that he plays a casual cop and there will not be any over-the-top scenes which depict herosim.

When quizzed about whether he has taken any help from his father Sathyaraj who essayed cop roles in many of his films, Sibiraj said, “My father never interferes with my work. After hearing the script, he remarked that it was a good role and that was it. However, the only time I requested his help was during the costume trial. A cop uniform has to be an exact fit and I wanted him to be there to ensure that we had got that right.” Directed by Shakthi Rajan, Naaigal Jaakirathai is expected to release soon.
