Mysskin’s associate completes debut film ‘8 Thottakkal’
Debutant Sri Ganesh, a former associate of auteur Mysskin, has wrapped up the shooting of his directorial debut 8 Thottakkal. The movie is produced by Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas and Big Print Pictures, who earlier co-produced Grahanam starring Kreshna and Kayal Chandran and is currently co-producing Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum with Atharva, Regina Cassandra and Aishwarya Rajesh.
8 Thottakkal features debut actor Vetri along with Malayalam actress Aparna Balamurali, who shared screen space with Fahadh Faasil in the Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaaram as leads. Veteran actor Nasser, MS Bhaskar, Mime Gopi and Madras Charles form the supporting cast.
“Nasser sir was provided with a caravan for him throughout the shoot. But he never used it. He used to sit on the platforms, help the cinematographer, hang around with the crew and indulge in casual talks with the cast. He would even strike a conversation with Light Men and costumer designers like they were his friends,” says director Sri Ganesh.
