Mysskin lashes out at critics, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam
Mysskin, who spoke at the recent audio launch of his paranormal thriller Pisaasu, lashed out at superfluous critics, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. While he looked utterly frustrated by the overflowing online criticism for his films, he also pointed out that Kamal Haasan’s Nayagan won so many awards inspite of being heavily inspired. “Mani Ratnam has given five consecutive flops. Will you ask him to stop making movies?,” he asked.
Mysskin, who bats for constructive criticism, over-generalized the online media and accused everyone for being otiose. But the fact that online media played an important role in the success of gems like Pizza, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, etc. cannot be neglected.
