“My language is cinema,” Mani Ratnam
After more than two years, Mani Ratnam fans have something to rejoice. Ok Kanmani has garnered positive reviews from critics and film buffs from the early shows in the state. Since Ok Kanmani is about live-in relationships, few have raised questions on whether Mani Ratnam supports the live-in culture.
“It’s not a social opinion on right and wrong. The filmmaker’s role is not to give opinions about what’s happening in the film. My platform is a film. My language is cinema. I voice my thoughts here,” said Mani Ratnam.
