My family stands with Jyotika on her speech: Suriya

Days after some right-wing outfits expressed concerns about Jyotika’s speech at an awards function, her husband and producer-actor Suriya has written a long statement supporting her opinion.

Suriya said humanity is bigger than any religion. He also added that his family totally stands by Jyotika’s thoughts in the speech, where she stated how hospitals should be given equal care and importance like temples.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi also supports the stand of Suriya. The star tweeted “Sirappu” quoting Suriya’s press release.
