“Mutual goodwill & respect between Yuvan & Anirudh was evident in the recording studio”

Director Sinish of Balloon fame talks about the relationship between composers Yuvan Shankar Raja and Anirudh as the latter has crooned for the former for a track titled Neenga Shut Up Pannunga in the film’s album.

“When lyricist Arun Raja Kamaraj and myself were discussing on some novel idea for a song, the popular phrase of Oviya “Neenga shut up Pannunga” came to the mind. We developed it and discussed with Yuvan Shankar Raja too. He was double ok and suggested to bring Anirudh on board as a singer. With reluctance, we conveyed it to Anirudh, and to our surprise, he was more than willing. The spirit of two young music directors working together in a great sense of comfort is a lesson to learn. Mutual goodwill and respect towards each other were all evident in the recording studio. This spilled over to the song and all the ears that heard the song confirmed the massive reach it could potentially attain. The promo of this song will be released on 29th August,” says Sinish with confidence.

Balloon features Jai, Anjali and Janani Iyer in the lead roles. The movie will be released by Auraa Cinemas in TN.
