Mundasupatti director signs a new project
Director Ram Kumar who made a commercially and critically acclaimed debut with fantasy-period comedy Mundasupatti has signed a new project for G. Dilli Babu of Axess Film Factory who earlier produced the Bobby Simha-starrer Urumeen and is currently bankrolling the untitled film of Aadhi and Nikki Galrani.
“I’m indeed excited about this association with Ram Kumar. His first film “Mundasupatti” was one of my all time favorites. The current project we are doing with him will elevate the status of Ram Kumar as a director and my Company Axess film factory as an emerging force in Tamil film production. We are on the verge of finalizing the technician list. The lead will be played by one of the happening heroes and as an ardent film lover, I’m confident that the audience will be able to connect themselves more in this action flick,” reads a statement from G.Dilli Babu.
Earlier, it was reported that Ram would direct a film titled Ratchasan, starring Jai in the lead role, for CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment. However, the team has till now remained tight-lipped about the project ever since the news surfaced in the media.
