A minor accident on Lingaa sets in Hyderabad

As the talkie portions for Lingaa are already over, the team is inching towards completing the song shoots under KS Ravikumar. But, a minor accident on sets put the shoot on hold yesterday in Hyderabad. A lavish set was erected by Sabu Cyril for a duet number featuring Rajinikanth and Sonakshi Sinha. “As a part of the song, a huge set was being erected. Sudarshan was working on the set, which is over five-floor high, when he fell. He suffered injuries to his legs and was immediately rushed to a hospital nearby, where he’s currently undergoing treatment,” says a source in the film’s unit to a daily.

Now, Sudarshan is responding well to the treatment and is recuperating. The song shoot is likely to resume today. Slated for release in December 12th, 2014, Lingaa has Rajnikanth, Sonakshi, Sinha and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.
