The first look of Vijay 61, which has been titled as ‘Adhirindhi’ in Telugu, has got a thumping response from the audience and industry alike.
Talking about the film, Murali Ramasamy said, “Thenandal Studios Ltd will release the film in Telugu through Northstar Entertainment’s Sharrath Marar, who is the strategical partner of the film. In past, Sharrath Marar had produced films like Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu and Sardar Gabbar Singh, and he has a vast experience in TV industry as well. “I am proud to be associated with Thenandal Studios Ltd to bring Vijay’s Adhirindhi to Telugu audiences. Moreover, ‘Adhirindhi’ is the 100th film to be produced by Thenandal Films and I’m sure that it will be a landmark film for all the actors and other stakeholders,” Sharrath Marar said.
Thenandal Studios Limited’s 100th production has a huge star cast led by Ilayathalapathy Vijay, along with S.J.Surya, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha, Nithya Menen, Vadivel, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan, and Sathyaraj.
The film has been extensively shot in several parts across India. Moreover, some of the important sequences of the film have been filmed in Europe. The film’s audio will be launched in a grand way in August and the preparation for this event is already in progress. Vivek has written the lyrics. G.K.Vishnu is the cinematographer, Ruban is the editor and Anal Arasu has composed the action sequences.
The film’s screenplay has been written by Vijayendra Prasad and Ramana Girivasan. After the stupendous success of Baahubali: The Beginning, Bhajrangi Bhaijaan andBaahubali: The Conclusion, Vijayendra Prasad is one of the most sought after writers in the country and he has written the story of Adhirindhi. Shobi has choreographed the dance.
The Story, Screenplay, Dialogue, and Direction by Atlee and the film is slated for worldwide release in October.
