Mersal sets another record by reaching 100M streams within a span of 10 days
The album of Mersal composed by AR Rahman has set yet another benchmark. It has broken the record of reaching 100 million streams across platforms within a span of 10 days.
“Mersal is a hit on arrival. 100 million streams in unheard of for any film in the south. This is just the beginning, Vijay has cut across geographies and globally too has seen a phenomenal reception,” said Ashok Parwani, Head – South, Sony Music India, in a statement.
Aalaporaan Thamizhan was the most listened track, followed by Mersal Arasan crooned by GV Prakash and the Neethane track.
