Master will be an unusual Vijay film: Lokesh Kanagaraj at Master Audio Launch
Speaking at the Master audio launch, director Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram and Kaithi fame said, “It will be an unusual Vijay sir film. Everyone will see the unexplored side of the actor. You will not see anything that he has always done in his previous movies.”
Asked about the number of songs in the movie, Lokesh said, “The narrated needed the songs. It will drive the narration.” Lokesh also revealed how his friend Sathish helped him meet Jagadish and pitched his story. “Then, Jagadish connected me to Vijay sir and got me an appointment,” said Lokesh.
Produced by Xavier Britto, Master also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, and Andrea Jeremiah in important roles. The album is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The release date of the film is unlikely to be April 9th and a change in plan is expected from the makers soon.
