Maniratnam to start his next with Dulquer & Nithya?

Speculations are running wild on Maniratnam’s next project and its leads. Now it is almost confirmed that Dulquer Salman will play the protagonist in the film. Though a lot of names are being tossed around for the heroine role including the likes of Shruti Haasan and Alia Bhatt, the recent news is that Nithya Menen is most likely to pair with Dulquer in the maverick director’s next. When Nithya Menen is quizzed about this, she remains tight lipped about the project, reported a daily. Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan were earlier seen together in Anjali Menon’s Ustad Hotel, one of the most celebrated films down south. The duo chemistry’s was highly appreciated by critics and moviegoers alike.

Maniratnam will be joining hands with PC Sreeram after 14 long years with this intense romantic film and his regulars AR Rahman & Sreekar Prasad have been retained for music and editing. While the movie buffs are awaiting an official word from the film maker regarding the cast, it is also said that the film will go on the floors from September 29th.
