Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan to take off in Thailand?
According to the latest reports, ace director Mani Ratnam will be starting off the shoot for his magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan in the countryside of Thailand, come the first quarter of 2020. The director has secretly conducted some recces in the country through his team, and is now locking down the supporting cast and the other requisites of the film.
As of now, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Chiyaan Vikram are confirmed to be a part of the project, with the official announcement to arrive sometime by the end of this year. AR Rahman will be composing 12 songs for the film, with Vairamuthu penning all of them.
