Mani Ratnam’s ‘OK Kanmani’ to be shot entirely in Chennai?

Mani Ratnam is long-popular for not flying to overseas locations with the most wussy excuses that other filmmakers usually make to shoot their films abroad. In fact, only for Guru he went abroad, Turkey and Istanbul to film important scenes which are part of the story. Now, the latest news is his next film Ok Kanmani, a romantic entertainer, has no abroad schedules, says a reliable source in the crew.

In fact, the team is planning to finish the entire film in and around the busy hotspots of Chennai. They will move away from the city only if the weather plays spoilsport, says a source. The makers are planning to wrap up the film by the end of December. Produced by Madras Talkies, Ok Kanmani is a Tamil-Malayalam bi-lingual starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead roles.
