Mani Ratnam’s next will start rolling from September 29th

There have been reports that Mani Ratnam has done finished writing the final draft for his next project and is all set to commence shooting for the film. Now, PC Sreeram has confirmed that he will indeed be joining hands with Mani Ratnam for his intense love subject. “I’m looking forward to reunite with Mani Ratnam. It’s a beautiful, romantic tale. The movie will go on the floors on September 29. The film has an interesting, ensemble cast. It is too early to reveal anything yet,” says PC Sreeram to a daily.

The casting for the film has already been done and Mani is keeping it under wraps for now. However, reliable sources have confirmed that Dulquer Salmaan will play the lead role in the film. Nithya Menen, who played Dulquer’s love-interest in the superhit Malayalam film Ustad Hotel is in the running for the female lead.
