Mani Ratnam turns down Cuckoo director’s request

Director Raju Murugan, who earned appreciations for his heartwarming debut in Cuckoo, is ready with his second film which features newcomers. The entire film has been shot in a single schedule in Dharmapuri and the post-production work is currently going on in full swing.

After brainstorming a lot of options, when the team finalized a title, they had apparently realized that it’s been already registered by Mani Ratnam in the guild. However, Mani Ratnam has reportedly turned down Raju’s request to use the title stating that it is close to his heart and he will be working on that project very soon.
