Mani Ratnam retains costume stylist Eka Lakhani for his next!
We earlier reported here that Mani Ratnam’s next untitled film will go on the floors from October 6th. Well, the team has begun shooting the film today. Starring Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan in lead roles, this yet-untitled flick is touted to be a breezy romantic tale. Mani Ratnam has retained costume stylist Eka Lakhani, who worked in Kadal, for the film. Eka Lakhani also worked as an assistant stylist in Mani’s Raavanan. Recently, Eka Lakhani’s work in the Bollywood film Gulaab Gang was appreciated by critics.
“First day shoot! More like first day school! New anxieties and a new backpack!,” tweeted Eka Lakhani.
While PC Sreeram and Mani Ratnam are joining hands after more than a decade for this film, AR Rahman will compose music and Sreekar Prasad will work on editing.
