Mani Ratnam praises Priya Anand!
R. Kannan’s Oru Oorla Rendu Raja is set for release on November 7th. Being a former associate of Mani Ratnam, Kannan screened two songs of the film to his mentor and it looks the veteran filmmaker had good words for Priya Anand’s performance in the song. “Yes, after watching rain song Mazha Kaatha, I saw a smile on his face indicating that he liked it. He did praise Priya Anand,” says Kannan to a daily.
Priya Anand is apparently on cloud nine after hearing the news. “I am blessed. These are really encouraging words and that too coming from a filmmaker who redefined Indian cinema. On earlier occasion Suhasini had said that Mani sir liked my acting in Arima Nambi,” says Priya Anand.
