Mani Ratnam on the verge of firming up his script

Mani Ratnam has been camping in Kodaikanal, his favorite destination for script writing, for the past few days. Sources confirm that he is on the verge of firming up the script for his next yet-untitled project, which is now confirmed to feature Karthi and Premam sensation Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.

The film will have seven songs penned by Vairamuthu with music by Mani’s regular AR Rahman. Karthi is currently busy with Kaashmora and Mani Ratnam is expected to kickstart the principal shooting once Karthi completes his ongoing commitment.
