Mani Ratnam’s Okay Kanmani in an illustrious university

Mani Ratnam’s next film Okay Kanmani is in its final leg of shooting and inching towards completion. After completing the Mumbai schedule, the team has now moved to Ahmedabad where important scenes are being canned in the illustrious central university – Indian Institute of Management (IIM – Ahmedabad). The film will be wrapped up by the end of December and post-production is likely to kickstart in January. Okay Kanmani is tentatively slated to hit screens in February.

The film is said to be an urban love story on the lines of Alaipayuthey. Featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead roles, the film has Prakash Raj in an important role. It also has Kanika of Varalaaru fame in a cameo and VJ Ramya is also said to be playing a brief role. It has music by AR Rahman and lyrics by Vairamuthu.
