Mani Ratnam, Bharathiraja, Bhagyaraj praise Parthiepan for KTVI

After getting appreciation from next-gen filmmakers like Nalan Kumarasamy and Karthik Subbaraj, the recent admirers for Parthiepan’s Kathai Thirakathai Vasanam Iyakkam are none other than veteran filmmakers Mani Ratnam, Bharathiraja and Bhagyaraj. Mani Ratnam has told, “You have accomplished big-time. It’s tough to win over today’s youngsters. You have done that,” says Parthiepan in an interview to a Tamil daily.

“You have surpassed 25 years in just one film. For the next 25 years, this film is enough,” said Bharathiraja. Unlike others, Parthiepan’s mentor K. Bhagayraj wrote him a letter after watching the film. “I usually talk to you after watching your film. But this time, I’m not able to. So, I’m writing a letter,” said Bhagyaraj.

KTVI is running successfully in theatres with an uptick in the number of screens in Chennai.
