Mammootty – Ram’s next titled Peranbu

After washing his hands off his romantic thriller ‘Taramani’ which is now edging towards its release, director Ram is getting things in place for his next film, which will have Mammootty in the lead. This will be a straight Tamil film for the Malayalam superstar after quite a long time.

Anjali has been confirmed as the female lead for this film, which has been titled ‘Peranbu’. Baby Sadhana who played the pivotal role in ‘Thangameengal’ is also a part of the cast, while Yuvan Shankar Raja will be taking care of the music.

Reliable sources in the know have quoted that this film is a poignant love tale of a man falling in love with a transgender.
