Mahima joins Dhanush – Vetrimaaran’s next
Actress Mahima Nambiar, best known for her role in Saattai and who was last seen in Mosakutty, has bagged the lead heroine role in Dhanush and Vetrimaaran’s next production venture Annanukku Jai, says a reliable source. Directed by Rajkumar, a former associate of Vetrimaran, this film will be produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company and will be distributed by Fox Star Films. Mahima is said to given her consent in principle though she has not officially signed the papers yet, says a source.
Dhanush and Vetrimaaran’s earlier production Kakka Muttai was premiered in the 39th Toronto International Film Festival and is awaiting its theatrical release in Tamil Nadu in 2015.
