Mafia Press Meet: Arun Vijay, Prasanna rave about director Karthick Naren
Speaking at the press meet of Mafia, actors Arun Vijay, Prasanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar, who play the lead roles in the film, raved about director Karthick Naren of Dhuruvangal 16 fame.
The entire shooting of Mafia was wrapped up in a span of 33 days and everyone heaped praise on Karthick Naren for his discipline, planning, and clarity of thought.
“Karthick Naren can be the next Sundar C or Hari or KS Ravikumar for his speed, clarity, and planning,” said Prasanna.
Priya Bhavani Shankar thanked Karthick for coming up with a fresh role for her instead of the usual girl-next-door character she plays.
Arun Vijay’s 25 years in the industry was also celebrated at the press meet. Bankrolled by Lyca, Mafia is slated to hit screens on February 21st worldwide.
A new sneak peek from the film will be unveiled on YouTube today evening at 5 PM.
