Madurai hospitality bowls over Lakshmi Menon
Karthi’s Komban featuring Lakshmi Menon in the lead role is currently under post production with the team left with only few pending shots to be canned. The story is set in the backdrop of Ramanathapuram and the team also shot in a village near Madurai for few days. Apparently, the people in the village were excited to see the shooting and invited Lakshmi Menon for lunch and dinner everyday. The dusky beauty instantly obliged and appreciated their hospitality, says a source from the team. When the villagers did it on a regular basis, Lakshmi Menon was bowled over.
Produced by Studio Green and directed by Muthaih of Kutti Puli fame, Komban has music by GV Prakash Kumar. Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunas and Rajkiran play supporting roles. Stunt master Super Subbarayan essays the role of an antagonist.
