“Madras and Jigarthanda are so close to each other”, says Santhosh Narayanan

Karthi’s Madras is gearing up for release on September 26th and everyone is pinning hopes on the film thanks to editor Praveen’s interestingly cut trailers and song promos. Directed by Pa. Ranjith of Attakathi fame, it has Karthi and Catherine Tresa in lead roles. Santhosh Narayanan, who has composed music for the film says Jigarthanda and Madras are so close to each other.

“I am still in awe with the level of realism that Pa Ranjith could achieve with his new movie Madras with its great dialogues, performances and look. Our team of musicians are very happy to be a part of this movie after the meticulously crafted Jigarthanda by Karthik Subbaraj. These two movies are so different in treatment yet so close to each other in terms of many technical aspects,” posted Santhosh on his official Facebook page.

Madras will take on Suseenthiran’s Jeeva starring Vishnu Vishal and Sri Divya in lead roles. It is presented by Vishal’s Vishal Film Factory and Arya’s The Show People.
