Ritwika, who made heads turn with her performance in Madras, has already shot few combination scenes with Superstar Rajinikanth in Kabali courtesy of director Pa Ranjith who decided to cast her in the film. “For the first three days, I was afraid of doing anything in front of him, but then I got comfortable as he is a very down-to-earth person. After shooting for a scene, Rajini sir came to me and appreciated my performance. I still can’t get over it. I became very emotional and will never forget that moment in my life,” says Ritwika.
Apart from Ritwika, Kalaiarasan and Mime Gopi from the Madras cast are also part of Kabali which is progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai’s important hotspots including the international airport. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and stars Radhika Apte and Dhansika in important roles. It has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
