Madhavan begins his journey as a boxer

Only Kollywood earlier reported that Madhavan will play boxer in his next film and the shooting will being in the second week of July. Now, the Minnale actor has confirmed it on his social media page yesterday. It is directed by Sudha K Prasad who earlier helmed Dhrogi featuring Srikanth and Vishnu in lead roles. Madhavan has shed 10 KGs for the role and the film will feature many real life boxers play themselves, says a reliable source in the know.

Santhosh Narayanan composes music and other details about the cast and crew are still awaited. Madhavan was last seen in Lingusamy’s Vettai, which failed miserably at the box-office. After finishing this project, he will join Bollywood director Anand L Rai for Tanu Weds Manu sequel.
