Movie kick starts with the village’s biggie (Karupaiyah) death and the respective characters are introduced with a song in it. Karupaiyah has 2 families with a boy and girl as children respectively. Viji Chandraseker comes as first wife, stays apart from Karupaiyah and lives under her elder brother’s companion who is also a biggie in the village. Karupaiyah leads his life with second family and there Kathir plays as his son. No communication with the 2 families whereas their children are good in terms and would like to mingle with each others. Ponram, another wanna be biggie who is good in financial crisis and longing for betterment than the other 2 in the village. Kathir fells in love with Oviya at his first sight, who comes as mallu girl and study along with Kathir’s sister and stays in their home.

In Karupaiyah’s funeral, Kathir and family was avoided by Viji Chandrasekar’s elder brother and co. Kathir was then forcefully invited by his brother later and in an incident he accidentally made himself as a reason for a death of his cousin. (Elder brother’s son of Viji Chandrasekar) From here the story drives as a chase between Kathir and elder brother of Viji Chandrasekar for a revenge. What happens then? Has Kathir been revenged or he escapes from the revenge and carries life with his lover girl. Above all these, what Ponram did for his betterment? is what dealt in the second half.

A good perform show for Kathir all the way in his maiden film itself. Other supporting artists have done well with their part for this apt castings action thriller. Special mentions to Viji Chandrasekar and her elder brother as well, since they carries the mood of the movie throughout. Cinematography by Ragul Dharuman, BGM score and realistic stunts are a major pluses. Though Yaaro Oruthi song is the only sequence to showcase Kathir & Oviya romance in the second half, it seems to be a speed breaker. Could have been crisped much better in 2nd half considering long run in the chases.
