Maddy-Vijay’s next to kickoff from November

Only Kollywood had earlier reported our readers that Maddy and director Vijay are in talks to collaborate for the official Tamil remake of Malayalam hit Charlie, which starred Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy in the lead roles. Now, it’s been officially confirmed by Pramod Films, who owns the remake rights.

The project is expected to go on floors from November 15th, 2016 once Vijay completes his next project with Jayam Ravi, which will get going soon. “We felt that Director Vijay would be a perfect choice to do this film in Tamil; he is in complete sync with what we wanted for the film. Madhavan was our first and foremost choice as a hero; his versatile image will go a long way in determining the course of the film. We are determined to retain the core content and modify the script to suit the Tamil audience,” says Shruti Nallappa, co-producer of the film.
