Macha and Mamu are the highlights in Anirudh’s Chanceyilla

Anirudh Ravichander’s Chanceyilla, a music video about Chennai will be released today evening at 6 PM. The composer will perform live in the Express Avenue mall in the city. The lyrics for the song are penned by director Vignesh Sivan of Podaa Podi fame and the choreography has been done by Sathish. The song’s audio has already premiered in Radio Mirchi’s Marina Melodies show today morning at 8 AM.

“The song stresses the fact that you become a Chennaiite, once you are here, no matter where you are from. That is what makes this city addictive. Common everyday lingo used in the song like Macha and Mamu is yet another highlight. We have shot the entire video in some of Chennai’s favourite spots likeMount Road, Mylapore, Besant Nagar Beach, and Napier Bridge,” says Anirudh.
