Maaveeran Kittu Songs Review
Review Overview
Elanthaari
Inaivom
Unkooda Thunaiyaga
Onna Onna
Kannadikkala
Elanthaari (Reprise)
Human Ethics
Melodious songs, fitting the theme.
Despite the tune-recycling factor, Maaveeran Kittu lives up to the respect of the Imman – Suseenthiran combo and delivers simple, soft songs that are easy on the ears. Imman’s strength is his melodies, and that’s what scores here, yet again.
Cast: Vishnu Vishal, Sri Divya, Parthiepan
Music: D. Imman
Lyrics: Yugabharathi
Direction: Suseenthiran
Label: Saregama
Elanthaari: Singer – Pooja Vaidyanath
The first song, and it features a very cutesy voice of Pooja Vaidyanath, who nails the pronunciation department with confidence. The simple tune, along with Imman’s trademark rhythm go well together, making it click. Our PICK.
Inaivom: Singer – Pradeep Kumar
A surfaced motivational track, which doesn’t have anything in it to break out of the box. Even a talented Pradeep Kumar cannot save this tune.
Unkooda Thunaiyaga: Singer – Kalyani Nair
Kalyani Nair pulls out a magical rendition for this lovely number, which has an Ilaiyaraaja-ish touch in the interludes. Imman’s comfort with his orchestration is evident here.
Onna Onna: Singer – D. Imman
A pedestrian quick track which does not suit this type of a film. Low lying one.
Kannadikkala: Singers – Jithin Raj, Pooja Vaidyanath
Fantastic melody from Imman, which lives on a mischievous rendition between Jithin Raj and Pooja Vaidyanath. The alternating instrumentations between the melody and the drums are a joy to listen to. Our PICK for sure.
Elanthaari (Reprise): Singer – Sniti Mishra
A slowed-down reprise version of the first track, where Sniti Mishra comes in place of Pooja Vaidyanath.
Human Ethics: Instrumental
Unruffled theme track which just might do its job in the movie.
