Maamanithan’s story happens in every household: Vijay Sethupathi

After the huge success of Vikram, Vijay Sethupathi is coming in with his next solo film in Maamanithan, which sees him rejoining hands with his guru Seenu Ramasamy. The film is all set to hit the screens on the 24th of this month, along with a few other films for company.

Speaking about Maamanithan, Vijay Sethupathi said “I love this story so much. It is something that takes place in every household, and showcases the story of a father and his troubles. Seenu Ramasamy’s films showcase emotions in their purest form, there is no other filmmaker like him right now,” said the actor, who has taken a 3-day break from the shoot of his Hindi film Merry Christmas, to promote Maamanithan. The team is taking off today to Kerala, to promote the film amidst the audiences there.
