“Loved Vignesh Shivan’s fresh writing & treatment of characters,” says Suriya

Suriya, who has turned the clock back with his makeover for Vignesh Shivan’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, is currently shooting for the project in Hyderabad following a brief maiden schedule in Karaikudi. When asked about what impressed him about this script, Suriya said, “It was Vignesh Shivan’s fresh writing style and his unique, lovely treatment of characters. I’m working with veterans like Ramya Krishnan and Senthil for the first time in the film,” said Suriya.

“But, you will not see the usual Ramya Krishnan and Senthil in this film. For example, Senthil won’t mouth so many lines but Vicky has effectively utilized his trademark expressions to produce humor,” Suriya added.

Produced by Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam has Keerthy Suresh playing the lead heroine. Anirudh composes music for the project.
