Lokesh Kanagaraj has asked me for 30 days for Kaithi sequel: Karthi
In a recent interaction, Karthi has revealed that director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is currently basking in the glory of the rave reviews for Kaithi, has asked for just 30 days of call sheet from the actor to complete the film’s sequel.
Lokesh took to Twitter recently to announce that Dilli, the character played by Karthi in Kaithi, will be back as a confirmation to queries from fans about the film’s sequel. Produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, the remake rights for the film are in great demand already in Kannada and Hindi.
In five days, Kaithi has earned nearly Rs 19 crores and is holding superbly in theaters across the state. The six-day total in Chennai city stands at Rs 1.97 crores.
