Lingusamy to direct Shruti Haasan?
It’s been already confirmed that Lingusamy will helm the official Hindi remake of Paiyya with Vidyut Jamwal reprising the role of Karthi. Vidyut earlier worked with Lingusamy in Anjaan where he played the role of Suriya’s partner in crime. Now, the latest buzz on the Hindi remake is that Shruti Haasan has been approached to essay the lead heroine opposite Vidyut in this road actioner. It was Tamannah who paired up with Karthi in the original. Interestingly, Shruti Haasan is awaiting the release of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Yaara where she shares screen space with Vidyut.
Reliable sources also reveal that Lingusamy has settled all dues to Eros International and his long-pending production Rajini Murugan is all set for release soon. An official confirmation on the release date can be expected soon.
