Lingaa shoot in iconic Ambavilasa, Mysore Palace

Earlier, Rajinikanth and co were denied permission to shoot in Mysore Palace for Lingaa citing obscure reasons. Now, the team has finally been granted permission to shoot in Mysore Palace by the authorities. KS Ravikumar has already filmed a song sequence and few important scenes related to pre-independent portions in Ambavilasa (Gold Room) and Gombe Thotti (Doll’s Pavillion), two spectacular rooms that define the beauty of the prestigious Mysore Palace.

The team will head to Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where a huge set is to be mounted for the next schedule. Anushka Shetty, who is currently held-up with a slew of projects including Thala 55, Baahubali and Rudramadevi, will join the team in Hyderabad. Lingaa is produced by Rockline Venkatesh and has music by AR Rahman.
