Lingaa distributors arrive at a consensus
After contradicting reports from the makers of Lingaa and the distributors, the latter have finally arrived at a consensus to drop any form of protests to announce their stand till Wednesday. Sources say the issue has been brought to the attention of Rajinikanth and distributors are hoping for an amicable solution soon since four other films are waiting in the fray to hit the screens for Christmas.
Trade sources reveal that a crucial meeting will take place between the makers, distributors and exhibitors soon. Meanwhile, Vendhar Movies has also requested the distributors to wait till Wednesday to decide any future course of action. A testing time ahead for the makers of Lingaa and it looks like Rajinikanth’s interference only will resolve this burning issue.
