Leo: Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa reveals interesting details about Thalapathy Vijay’s character!
The buzz around LEO went up even higher after the release of the film, as the ambiguity around the character of Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo Das peaked further. In a recent interview, cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa revealed some interesting details saying “Lokesh has conceived the character of Leo as the most notorious and dangerous one in his universe. In fact, there were many scenes that we had shot for the flashback including one where all the gangsters vote for Leo as the new head of their clan, and Harold Das opposes it. That is the reason why Harold chooses Leo over Elisa for the sacrifice.”
“Over time, Leo will go on to become a memorable character in Lokesh’s films,” said the cinematographer, who has worked with Vijay again after Beast. The makers of Leo have officially announced that the film has crossed 461 crores at the box office, which is a record breaking collection worldwide.
