LEO beats 2.0 to become highest 7-day grosser in Tamil cinema’s history!
Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo has overtaken Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0 to become the highest one week grosser from Tamil cinema in history. The film has now done in excess of 460 crores and is steadying the ship as it moves forward to its second weekend.
Leo had a very good hold in TN on its first working day – Wednesday, with over 7 crore grossed throughout the state. The film is also holding well in Kerala while it has already broke even in the Telugu states and Karnataka. It is sure to enter the 500 crore club worldwide by Friday or Saturday morning, with the second weekend bookings also flying up high.
Leo is said to be grossed over 150Cr in TN and is now marching towards the 200Cr club here.
